You can easily  install the Whatsapp in iPhone, Windows & Android directly from the official website. But Nokia Asha Mobile Series is using a different operation system such as JAVA. So you need to follow different Steps to install Whatsapp Messenger on Java Phones. Since Nokia Asha is JAVA Mobile Phone you can’t directly download WhatsApp Application from WhatsApp.com. To Download & Installing WhatsApp Messenger on Nokia Asha 200 & Other Java Phones are Very simple. I have helped my series of friends to install it on their Nokia Asha 200 & 205 & Other Java Mobile Phones successfully

Nokia had introduced new low budget Smartphone Asha Phones  into the market last year. Nokia Asha have Dual SIM & single SIM Mobile Phones.

There are two method of installing WhatsApp Application on the Asha Mobile Phone. Installing process will be different for all the Asha Phones . Most of the JAVA Phones supports Method 2 Such As Asha 200 & 202

Method 1: It’s a normal method that to open a web browser and Go to official Whatsapp Website for Whatsapp installation. Download the Whatsapp application from the official site and install it on your Nokia Asha Phone

Method 2 : We have to download two files from the internet. The Download links are given below. You just need to paste the below link in your browser which is given below. If you don’t have browser on your Asha Phone first download Opera Mini for Nokia Asha Phones

Steps to Install WhatsApp Messenger on Nokia Asha Phone :

Method 2 :  If Method one is not supporting just try with Method 2. Hope that will help you to get Whatsapp on Nokia Asha Mobile Phone.

Step #1: First step is Download the two files of WhatsApp with the help of above links

Step #2 : Copy & Move the WhatsApp Messenger Download files to anywhere in your Memory card With the help of USB & Computer. If you don’t have Computer you can download it on friend’s mobile and transfer it back to your Phone via Bluetooth

Step #3:  Now navigate to the folder which has downloaded files on the memory Card. Some Times you might see they will get auto merged and become one.

Step #4 : Copy them to your Application or Game folder in the Phone Memory. Go to WhatsApp  Application and Click option button which would be at left of the  Nokia Asha Phone

Step #7: Click on update Version, the phone will now automatically connect to internet & it will download the recent Version

Step #8: When the download gets completed , it will prompt for  Open File now , Files are downloaded to my apps. Click Yes

Step #9: You can see the WhatsApp page pops up then you might see something like updating notification enabler, just allow it complete the process.

Step #10: Now in the Whatsapp screen it will ask whether you want to continue  PRESS YES and now you will be taken to another page to input the phone number.

Step #11: Just type your number . It will now start connecting & will tell you that it wish to send Verification SMS to your Number . Accept It

Step #12: It will prompt for your WhatsApp name. Type your Nick Name. Click Next/continue. You can some text message like “You have 12 Months of Service”. Nothing it just an notification its free for 12 Months . After that they will charge Rs60 /per year.

Step #13: Whatsapp will automatically starts setting up the favorites. Please be patient until the setup installation get completed. After Whatsapp Installed successfully the Whatsapp Home screen Will appear.

    1. The most common reason why you cannot connect to WhatsApp is because your phone is temporarily not connected to the internet.

      To ensure you have a working internet connection, go through the following steps:

      Make sure you have a data plan on your carrier’s network or a Wi-Fi connection with internet access.
      Make sure that the signal strength of the Wi-Fi or data network is good and the phone is connected to the network.
      Open a webpage in your phone browser to see if it loads. If it does, your phone is connected to the internet.
      Reboot your phone.

  34. For all those who are getting network conditions related errors or problem in installing whatsapp in nokia asha 200 here is a trick
    Just follow these steps
    1: As mentioned above download both whatsapp.jar and whatsapp.jad file and update it.
    2: You need two sims in order to run whatsapp
    3: Take the sim you are not using to run the internet and put it in the sim slot 1 that is at the back of the phone and the sim you use to access internet put it in sim slot 2 that is at the side of the phone
    4: Now using sim manager or rhe sim button above the call button, select all the selection for sim 2 that is the sim you are using to run whatsapp or internet
    5: Now you will not get any errors in Whatsapp

    1. first of all you have to delete your configuration setting of all service provider airtel,vodafone,tata,..etc

      just delete your all configurations of gprs from Menu->Settings->Configuration->delete configurations…then again open your whatsapp application from memory card..

      retry if not install….2-3 time

Sabse phle to apko 2 sim card chahiye jispe net chalta hai aur jis nmbr pe whats app chalana hai us sim card ko sim slot 1 pe insrt kro and dusra jispe net nahi chalata use sim slot 2 pe rakho and baad me files ko download kro aur uske baad rename sirf aur sirf dot( . ) lagana hai undrscore k sign ko krke lekin yaad rahe ki phon ko restore kiya hona chahiye
